I have list down the famous FTP software and whether they can actually support both synchronization and command line support or not. There are many software solutions available in the market at the moment that can support both Synchronization as well as Command line support. If you need to run scripting program on client side that can actually run from command line (by writing batch script) and then you can synchronize contents by writing scripts. Let’s further filter out, only few software can support command line. But only some of them actually support Synchronization. There are number of FTP software in the market that can support basic functionality like Add/Delete/View/Transfer files. Here I’m focusing on Synchronization because I want to update only new/modified files. Sometimes there is a need to synchronize contents from Server to Client or Client to Server.
